This is a fantastic opportunity with one of the fastest growing construction companies in Australia for an experienced supervisor to join their growing team in the Toowoomba region, where they have plenty of work.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that builds are completed on budget and on time, from site cut up to and including handover. You will also be responsible for the following:

  • Maintaining superior Health and Safety standards onsite
  • Scheduling and managing trades
  • Managing and supervising daily and weekly onsite construction operations
  • Checking onsite delivery dockets
  • Daily reporting of site activities using Onsite Companion
  • Organising site signage, toilets, bins, scaffolds
  • Supplying photos of completed stages (slab, frame, enclosed, fix-out and practical completion)
  • Co-ordinate building/handover inspections.
  • Providing effective defects management to prevent delays in handover
  • Facilitating obtaining of Form 21
  • Assisting with obtaining local trade and supplier pricing to reduce costs.
  • Ensuring an ongoing commitment to quality

You must have a carpentry or similar trade background and possess a valid and current QBCC Supervisors/Builders License/white or blue card. A proven track record with similar builds and the ability to effectively manage subcontractors is critical to your success. Your friendly but firm disposition, strong customer service skills and commitment to producing a quality home are key attributes.
