About the role

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager (Integration & Cloud Services) to lead and deliver complex integration projects and cloud-based solutions across a dynamic enterprise environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure seamless delivery of integration initiatives that align with business objectives. This is a contract role based in Brisbane, starting on 13th October 2025 and running until 30th June 2026, with possible extensions.

Must come from a government background.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, plan, and deliver projects on time, within scope and budget.
  • Engage with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and manage expectations.
  • Provide technical oversight for integration architecture, cloud migration, and deployment activities.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure successful delivery.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies for successful organisational adoption.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues; escalate when required.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, design specifications, test plans, and deployment guides.
  • Drive continuous improvement and adoption of best practices in integration and cloud service delivery.

Highly desirable criteria

  • Proven experience delivering integration and cloud projects in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge of common integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Azure Logic Apps, AWS Step Functions).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Contract management, vendor relations, and service delivery oversight experience.
  • Board-level reporting and governance experience.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, or AWS/Azure/GCP.

Desirable criteria

  • Ability to influence the application of architecture standards and practices across the organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement in cloud and integration practices.
  • Understanding of emerging best practices in cloud technology.

  • Strong technical acumen and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple solutions simultaneously and work independently.
