Job Description
This position is:

  • Perth Based based role (only candidates currently residing in Perth will be considered)
  • Permanent full-time position
  • Monday to Friday
  • 50 hour week

Role Specific

  • Minimise unplanned downtime and maximise machine hours through the development and management of a tailored scheduled maintenance program
  • Coordination of preventative maintenance for all assets, ensuring that services are scheduled and finalised in a timely manner
  • Manage the use of the company plant management software (PRONTO) ensuring accuracy of information
  • Ensuring that all tasks are supported by a work order
  • Ensuring that all reports are supplied with, complete and submit their daily paperwork.
  • Manage housekeeping in the workshop and broader workplace.

Desired Skills And Experience
Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 4+ years' experience in a planning role
  • Solid understanding of equipment and maintenance safety systems, processes and procedures within transport and mobile plant mining environment
  • Understanding of road transport and mining regulations
  • Experience working with a computerised CMMS system, preferably PRONTO
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (preferably Outlook, Word & Excel)
  • Have a strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills to deal with Multiple remote sites
  • Thorough understanding of and proven ability to undertake risk management processes.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical Trade with mobile plant experience
  • Trade qualification in mobile maintenance road transport or heavy plant
