Fabworx Steel Supplies and Fabrication is a proudly Goulburn-based company providing top-quality fabrication services across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Laser Cutter / Press Brake Operator to become a key part of our fabrication team. This is a full-time, permanent position based in our modern and well-equipped Goulburn workshop.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC laser cutting and press brake machinery
  • Interpret detailed technical drawings and job orders
  • Perform accurate measuring, cutting, forming, and finishing of metal components
  • Carry out machine adjustments and troubleshoot production issues
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure components meet specifications
  • Perform general fabrication tasks such as grinding, deburring, and finishing
  • Maintain safe and tidy work practices in line with WHS standards

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience operating CNC laser cutting and press brake equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Competent in using precision measuring tools and working to tight tolerances
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and pride in workmanship
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in a workshop environment
  • Team player who can also work independently

Desirable but not essential:

  • Forklift licence

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour

Experience:

  • CNC laser cutting: 1 year (Preferred)
