Roles and Responsibilities:
• Ensure quality of business requirements, functional and non-functional requirements, specifications, and recommendations for proposed solutions, where the outputs will have a measurable impact on profitability and / or effectiveness of Western Power
• Identify alternative solutions, assess feasibility, recommend approaches, contribute to evaluating factors and prioritise requirements, working with internal and external stakeholders
• Guide the use of and apply industry standard analysis techniques to uncover client requirements, such as data flow modelling, use-case analysis, workflow analysis, functional decomposition analysis, data modelling and object modelling
• Guide the use of and apply relevant business analysis tools and techniques to perform solution analysis and design; this could include but not limited to:
-Requirements gathering and management
-Enterprise analysis
-Requirements elicitation
-Process analysis
-Solution assessments and validation
• Identify the impact of external factors on business requirements and manage the investigation and application of changes to program and project scope
• Construct business cases, including analysis and documentation of options, financial assessments, and risks
• Liaise across the business ensuring requirements are fully understood, change impact is managed and solutions are fit-for-purpose
• Enhance the documentation of test cases and quality of solution testing to ensure that they meet the requirements of business and Western Power standards, including integration testing, system testing, regression testing and UAT.
