Job Overview
In this role you will be responsible for leading maintenance, reliability, and facilities functions to ensure asset performance, plant reliability, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimise downtime and extend asset life.
  • Manage CMMS systems and track maintenance KPIs (e.g. MTBF, MTTR, schedule compliance).
  • Apply reliability engineering tools including RCM, RCA, FMEA, and predictive maintenance techniques.
  • Oversee facilities infrastructure (HVAC, utilities, compressed air, lighting) and manage external service providers.
  • Develop and manage maintenance budgets, spare parts strategy, and contractor performance.
  • Deliver small-scale engineering and site improvement projects.
  • Support audits and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Lead, develop, and support maintenance teams including trades and apprentices.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' leadership experience in maintenance or reliability within manufacturing/industrial settings.
  • Trade or Engineering qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics).
  • Strong knowledge of CMMS, asset management, and maintenance best practices.
  • Proven track record in improving plant performance and reliability.
  • Strong skills in problem-solving, RCA/FMEA, planning, and team development.
Desirable:
  • Experience in food, pharma, or FMCG sectors.
  • Certification in Reliability Engineering or Maintenance Management.
  • Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, FSSC22000 compliance.
