Key Competencies:
To apply and succeed in the role, you will be able to demonstrate experience in and an understanding of:

Traditional and digital marketing best practice, theory, and up-to-date principles

Event/project planning, management and evaluation processes.

The South Australian Public Service processes used to plan, manage, and deliver, in conjunction with, stakeholders, all types of marketing activity including events, sponsorships and publicity activities in a timely and cost-effective manner
You will also have:
-
An understanding of marketing and communications objectives as they relate DSD's organisational goals (eg. international trade, investment, regional migration and the transformation of the South Australian economy).
-
The ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively both verbally and in writing with people at all levels including proven ability to consult, liaise and influence, and negotiate and manage conflict with tact and diplomacy.

A demonstrated ability to manage time, objectives, strategies, and priorities; to plan, organise, implement, progress, and coordinate concurrent and responsive projects to meet objectives.
Remuneration:
Competitive salary $85,790 to $95,143 pa plus superannuation

Essential: Nil

Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or equivalent. Special Conditions:

The role will be offered as a full-time (37.5 hours per week), 12-month contract position.

A Satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check (NPC) will be required prior to employment.
