Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable lawyer with 5 to 7 years of experience in property law, wills, and estates. The ideal candidate will possess a well-rounded skill set in areas related to real estate transactions, estate planning, and probate matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about providing exceptional legal services and wants to further their career in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and support on property transactions, including buying and selling residential and commercial properties.
  • Draft and review wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
  • Assist clients with estate administration, including probate and trust administration.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on relevant real estate and estate law issues.
  • Liaise with clients, real estate agents, financial institutions, and other stakeholders as necessary.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and litigation related to property and estate matters.
  • Stay updated on changes in property and estate law to provide informed advice to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar in NSW.
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in property law, wills, and estates.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A client-focused approach with a strong commitment to client service.
