How you will contribute to the team
  • Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, STP finalisation and loan summaries for corporate and HNWIs, including trusts, companies, partnerships and individuals.
  • Preparation of payroll tax returns, FBT returns, activity statements.
  • Working as part of a team where you will work closely with other intermediate and senior business services accountants.
  • Ability to make full use of softwares such as MYOB Suite, Xero.
  • Liaising with clients and other external service providers.
What makes you a great fit
  • Have a minimum of 1–2 years of experience in local public practice.
  • Have the desire and ability to provide exceptional client service with a passion for tax.
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Have strong problem solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Preferred hands-on understanding and experience in Australian Tax Law including personal income tax, small business tax, capital gains tax, taxation for trusts and companies and GST.
  • Ideally started or completed CA / CPA program.
  • Well versed with Xero, XPM and Xero Tax and Xero certified and Xero payroll certified.
