Medical Receptionist

We're looking for a reliable, warm, and committed Medical Receptionist to join us at NSW Cardiology in Darlinghurst. This is a part-time role (Monday, Tuesday & Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm) with the opportunity to grow and develop within a supportive and professional environment.

About the Role

You'll be the face of our practice — providing outstanding service and support to our patients, doctors, and team. This is more than just a receptionist job — it's a role for someone who wants to build a long-term career in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warmly welcoming patients and visitors
• Managing appointments and scheduling
• Answering phone/email enquiries with professionalism and empathy
• Assisting patients with registration and paperwork
• Processing Medicare, DVA and private billing
• Maintaining accurate medical records
• Providing day-to-day admin support to keep the practice running smoothly

What We're Really Looking For

We can train the right person, but the most important things you bring are:

• A warm, friendly, and professional attitude
• A strong sense of responsibility and commitment
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Experience in customer service or healthcare reception is a plus
• Experience with Genie software is ideal, but not essential

**You must be available Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 8:30am/9am to 5:30pm/6pm

**Must have full Australian work rights – this role is not suitable for students or WHM visas
