Your new role
Exciting 12 month role supporting the fund's distribution via the external adviser network, helping more members to receive advice from an adviser of their choice. In this role, you will provide business relationship and operational services to approved external financial advisers and Licensees registered with AustralianSuper.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
Initiate contact with approved advisers to develop service relationships with key personnel within these practices.
Working as a team to manage email case load and inbound phone calls from Advisers in a timely manner.
In conjunction with the distribution team, develop and implement servicing plans for approved advisers to promote and target the fund's products and services to support new members under advice, and for existing members to obtain advice.
Resolve high volumes of queries and issues from approved advisers and their staff in a manner that exceeds expectations.
Maintain records on approved adviser contacts and activities using the team's CRM.
Where required, contribute to the creation of tailored education and training materials for approved advisers.
Execute the referral process – contribute to decisions around which Advisers are on the panel, referral allocation and, placement of advisers on the watch list.
Represent the Fund at seminars and other adviser industry events and promote the fund at such functions.
Facilitate the accurate payment of fees in accordance with set processes to Licensees, ensuring reconciliation completed within agreed timeframes.
Contribute to the strength of the team by communicating key information, being supportive and flexible.
What you'll need
Role requires successful candidate to hold (or attain within 3 months of enrolment) an RG 146 qualification and be able to evidence ongoing CPD.
Excellent phone manner and an ability to manage high volume calls.
Developing stakeholder relationship management experience within financial services sector. Excellent knowledge of the fund superannuation and pension products.
Technical knowledge of superannuation and pension administration and processes. Excellent knowledge of retirement investment products, insurance and legislation.
Strong written and oral communication/ interpersonal skills with the ability to present ideas, perspectives, and issues.
Knowledge and understanding of ethical practice and compliance requirements and their application. Problem solving and analytical ability.
