Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lead Activities Coordinator located in Muswell Hill, NSW. The Lead Activities Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and leading a variety of activities for residents, ensuring their engagement, and enhancing their quality of life. Day-to-day tasks include planning and implementing activity programs, coordinating with staff and volunteers, and monitoring residents' participation and satisfaction. The role also involves assessing the needs and preferences of residents to tailor activities that promote mental health and well-being.

Qualifications

  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Training and Leadership abilities
  • Experience in Elder Care and Mental Health
  • Skills in Fundraising and Community Engagement
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience in a similar role or setting is a plus
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in healthcare or social services are advantageous
