An exciting opportunity is available in our Perth office for a creative and motivated individual who is excited to develop a career with us as a Graduate Facade Engineer and become part of our team in a multifaceted role. You will be collaborating with the best in the business, building on your specialised technical knowledge whilst working on the design of some of the most exciting projects in Australia.

The Inhabit Façade Engineering team is internationally distributed across the globe. The team is location independent, enabling access to projects across Australia, Asia, and Europe from any location. We uniquely work across all stages of the project lifecycle, from business case and advisory to sustainability and carbon strategy to detailed modelling, construction, and post-occupancy. This means that we have a focus on real-world results rather than the hypothetical targets seen in other parts of the sustainability industry.

This role includes:

• Undertaking the design, engineering and documentation including detailed engineering calculations, analysis, drawings and specifications for façade and build-ability consultancy
• Reviewing contractor submissions; shop drawings and calculations
• Liaising and coordinating with the design/project team and other disciplines within Inhabit as required
• Façade engineering design and buildability consultancy, including material knowledge and installation techniques
• Assisting in preparing tender submissions
• Building relationships with clients on projects and develop contacts within the façade industry

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil / Structures) - Attach Full Academic Transcript with CV or Cover Letter
• Entry level or experienced graduate in structural and / or façade engineering
• A strong and committed interest in structural engineering and façade design
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
• Proactive, positive attitude, dedicated with a passion for detail
• Knowledge of relevant Australian standards and building codes
• Proficient in MS Office suite (MS Word, Excel and PDF in particular)
