Duties
  • Assess and advise on local planning strategies, major development proposals, planning scheme amendments, and Crown landowner consent applications.
  • Coordinate and provide input to major strategic and statutory planning initiatives, including the Tasmanian Government's planning reform agenda.
  • Provide strategic and statutory planning advice, as required.
  • Prepare high-quality written material including correspondence, minutes and briefs.
  • Foster productive and consultative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable Requirements
  • Planning qualification and/or eligibility for membership of the Planning Institute of Australia
