A Supply Chain Demand Planner is needed to ensure the critical supply of goods and services into the business
**Your new company**
TasWater is embarking on a business transformation program to further optimise how they deliver for their customers through the TasWater Supply Chain business unit. Hays Procurement is working closely with the business to identify the talent needed for this exciting evolution. Critical to this transformation is this newly created position for a Supply Chain Demand Planner.

**Your new role**
This newly created position can be based in either Hobart, Launceston or Devonport and has been scoped to ensure that the demand for medium to long term business requirements is planned and strategically integrated into TasWater's Procurement and Supply Chain framework. You'll actively lead the analysis of long-lead, critical and high-value item requirements to ensure they are effectively procured and deliverable to the business when needed. Additionally, you'll be analysing and reviewing actual procurement performance against demand forecasts and providing insights and recommendations into trends and anomalies.

**What you'll need to succeed**
As an experienced Demand Planner, you'll need expert analytical and communication skills to excel in this position. You'll be degree qualified with robust influencing and negotiation skills along with the current understanding of contemporary procurement and contract management systems. You'll need to be experienced in the preparation and delivery of reports at an executive level.
