Are you an experienced leader in vehicle maintenance and fleet management? Join our team as a Workshop Supervisor and help drive operational excellence in our busy depot.

Job Purpose:

As a Workshop Supervisor (WS), you will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the workshop, ensuring that our fleet of vehicles is maintained, repaired, and fully operational. You'll play a key role in supporting the Workshop Manager and/or Operations Manager, making sure the depot meets performance, safety, and service delivery standards.

Your goal: To ensure the smooth running of the workshop in line with company policies and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate workshop operations, including vehicle inspections, servicing, and repairs.
  • Ensure effective utilisation of fleet vehicles to minimise downtime.
  • Lead and motivate a team of technicians and workshop staff to achieve high standards of performance.
  • Monitor workflow and job progress to meet deadlines and service schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service history.
  • Support compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Assist in planning and implementing improvements to workshop processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in workshop or fleet supervision, preferably in a transport or logistics environment.
  • Strong technical understanding of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
