Norlift is a well-established and reputable company specializing in Forklift, EWP and Material Handling Equipment. With a strong presence in Far North Queensland, including Cooktown and Weipa, we offer comprehensive services including Forklift Hire, Sales, Service, and Parts.

As a key member of the Norlift Cairns team, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the high demand for field service breakdowns and maintenance requirements in Cairns and its surrounding areas. We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and mature individual to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Key responsibilities;

  • Perform scheduled maintenance, servicing, and breakdown repairs on retail and internal hire fleet equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support.
  • Work with a variety of equipment across different makes and models.
  • Uphold high standards of workmanship and housekeeping.
  • Assemble, maintain, diagnose, and repair both light and heavy equipment.

The Successful Applicant Will Have:

  • Trade Qualification as a Mechanic.
  • Proven experience in servicing and maintaining heavy plant and materials handling equipment.
  • Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid Driver's Licence.
