Holmes Institute Brisbane, a leading Higher Education provider requires 2 exam invigilators to supervise end of semester in person exams the dates for the exams are:

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the exam session: Invigilators supervise the exam in progress, observing the candidates and the environment to ensure rules are followed.
  • Uphold regulations: They are responsible for ensuring that all students adhere to the specific procedures and rules of the examination.
  • Ensure fair conditions: A primary role is to maintain fair and secure exam conditions, giving all candidates an equal opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge.
  • Prevent malpractice: Invigilators monitor for and report any actions that could be considered cheating or malpractice.
  • Support the process: They can also be involved in tasks like greeting and verifying candidates, and providing support to ensure a smooth exam experience.

The successful candidate will have experience supervising/invigilating exams previously, have confidence to manage a classroom of adult higher education students, be responsible for maintain order within the exam venue, and be supportive of our students sitting their final exams.

Punctuality and organisation skills are a must.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 4 days

Pay: $42.75 per hour
