Coda is a hatted restaurant offering a warm and intimate environment with a casual but sophisticated feel. We are looking for an enthusiastic hands on Sommelier to manage and curate our wine list and to provide guidance and support staff to develop their skills.

Coda and Tonka are both hatted restaurants, offering warm and intimate environments, both with a casual but sophisticated feel. Located in vibrant Flinders Lane, Coda's menu is inspired by French Vietnamese flavours, whilst Tonka is a modern interpretation of the Indian classics.

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join, contribute and grow our carefully curated beverage selection. Our award-winning list is considered and matched to our venue's culinary offerings. It is built on the foundation of a local and international selection of wines, beers, aperitifs and spirits.

We are seeking a passionate hospiality professional who will inspire and guide both customers and staff.

What you can offer us:

  • Proven experience with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
  • An understanding of POS stocktake systems (Impos) would be favourable, but not critical
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect with guests and staff
  • A proactive attitiude and desire to grow with a professional team
  • Strong section waiter skills
  • A love of great food and wine
