Senior Azure Devops Engineer- Major Bank- Long term contract

A major bank is currently seeking a Senior Azure Devops Engineer with strong terraform to join their team on a long term contract. Initially 12 month contract and hybrid (2 days a week in office).

Sydney or Melbourne based- Hybrid

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and automate Azure Services with a focus on security, compliance, and cost optimization using Terraform for Enterprise consumption.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the banks Azure platform, it's patterns, and tools
  • Facilitate solution design and delivery phases to ensure timely resolution of design issues.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines
  • Automate Azure services deployment
  • Platform enhancements and platform improvements
  • Mentor junior members

Key Skills / Experience:

  • Detailed hands on Azure Devops experience
  • Terraform experience
  • Core Platform Enhancements and Maintenance
  • Writing Azure detailed design documentation
  • Troubleshooting in azure technologies and across multiple consumption models
  • Cloud Application Build and Migration- desirable
  • Agile methodology

Desirable:

  • Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric
  • Azure machine learning
  • Financial services
  • Azure certifications
