The Role

As a Senior Manager within the Partner Services team, you'll collaborate directly with firm Partners and retired Partners to provide accounting, tax, and advisory solutions. This role involves reviewing complex financial statements and tax returns, identifying tax planning opportunities, managing compliance obligations, and delivering tailored business insights.

You'll play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial wellbeing of partners while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and professional integrity. Supported by a small team, you'll also contribute to developing junior staff and ensuring consistent, high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and prepare financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
  • Identify and resolve tax compliance issues and advise on tax planning strategies.
  • Review BAS and IAS statements and ensure accurate submissions.
  • Provide ad hoc business and tax advisory services to partners and retired partners.
  • Oversee the maintenance and setup of cloud-based accounting systems.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff members.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and advisory specialists to deliver seamless client outcomes.

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Commerce, with CA or CPA accreditation.
  • 10+ years' experience in accounting and tax compliance across multiple entity types.
  • Strong technical skills in tax and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven experience in managing client relationships with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficient with cloud accounting software and modern digital tools.
