At Home Care supports adults and children with complex care needs to be as independent and healthy as possible so they can pursue their goals and live life to the fullest. As a registered NDIS service provider we offer complex high care, including private in-home care and nursing services, through to social support, daily living assistance and community access.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated, experienced support worker to join our friendly team to assist with our male SCI client who is residing in Aubin Grove. The successful candidate must be reliable, happy and self-motivated. Previous experience in high care disability, particularly clients with Spinal Cord Injuries preferred.

The shifts

  • Monday
  • Wednesday
  • Alternate Saturday

Duties include but not limited to

  • Personal Care - Bowel Care and Catheter Care
  • Manual handling and hoisting
  • Social support and companionship
  • Domestic duties and meal preparation

Ideal Candidate

  • Good communication skills
  • Experience supporting clients with a spinal cord injury or quadriplegia is desirable
  • Can work in homes with pets and in smoking environments

Mandatory Requirements:

  • NDIS Worker Screening check
  • Provide First Aid and CPR certificates
  • WA drivers licence and road worthy car
  • Right to work in Australia
