Busy Bees at Banksia Grove is a 77-place service that welcomes you with beautifully designed rooms, plenty of natural resources and exciting learning opportunities for children aged birth to five years. Conveniently located on Fairywren St, you'll find Busy Bees at Banksia Grove nestled away in a quiet residential estate close to public transport, primary schools and natural parklands.

The Service is looking for a dynamic, confident and experienced leader in the Early Childhood Industry to join our management team as a 2IC Assistant Service Manager. Someone who strives to excel and leads by example, setting high industry standards for their team.

Role: 2IC Assistant Service Manager

Salary: $ $39.39 (hourly)

Location: Banksia Grove, WA, Australia

Essential Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification as recognized by ACECQA.
• A current and valid WWCC ( working with Children Card )
• First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.

Skills and Attributes

• Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS) to assist in ensuring quality practices and outcomes.
• Ability to support, mentor and lead a team of educators in the absence of the Service Manager.
• Capability to assist in managing daily operations, from staffing to parent communications.
• Ability to effectively address and resolve issues that may arise within the service.
• Experience in a Service 2IC, Assistant Director, Assistant Service Manager or similar role within an early childhood setting.
• Proficiency in using relevant management software and tools for communication, documentation and reporting.
• Skills to address and mediate challenges or disputes that might arise among staff or with families.
