We have an exciting part time opportunity to join GOTAFE as a Teacher Food Processing. As part of this role you will deliver high quality education outcomes for our diverse cohort of students. Your experience and passion for imparting knowledge on the next generation of professionals will be essential to ensure student success. The successful candidates will require a high standard of interpersonal skills, customer service and professionalism.

In this position you will teach the Cert III and IV in Food Science and Technology, with the opportunity to extend into the Diploma.

As the successful candidate you will have:

  • Relevant Diploma (or higher) in Food Processing/Food Science or similar
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or TAE40122 (GOTAFE supports on the job completion)
  • Experience in Milk and Dairy Processing (preferred but not essential)
  • Sound knowledge of current industry standards

If you are successful in this role you will be required to provide:

  • A current Police Check (date of issue is to be no more than 6 months prior to commencement date)
  • A current Working with Children Check - Employee (or proof of application)
  • A current Driver's Licence (Car).

The salary range for this position is L1.1-L3.5 Victorian TAFE Teaching Employees Agreement.
