About the Opportunity

The Junior Systems and Network Engineer will play an essential role in supporting and maintaining the organisation's IT systems and network infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud. Being part of the Infrastructure and Security team within the Digital & Technology team, this position will work closely under the guidance of the Senior Systems and Network Engineer and contribute to both Level 2 and 3 day-to-day operational requirements and project-based initiatives across the business.

Reporting to the Senior Systems and Network Engineer, this role will collaborate with the IT Service/Help Desk team to provide seamless support across the organisation and will regularly liaise with multiple internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers to deliver reliable IT services. The role will assist to ensure Flourish Australia's technology environment remains robust, secure, and well-aligned with the organisation's mission to foster mental wellbeing.

Selection Criteria

Essential:

  • At least two years of proven experience in IT Support or one years experience in a Systems or Network Administrator role.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange, and Power Platform.

  • Understanding about hypervisor environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

  • Experience with iOS, macOS, Windows Server, Linux, and network administration, including VPN management, DHCP, DNS, firewalls, routers, wireless systems.

  • Experience managing Endpoint Security and cloud identity environments (e.g., Entra ID).

  • Demonstrated experience supporting mobile device management tools (e.g., Jamf, MS Intune) for Apple and Windows devices.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build cross-functional relationships.

  • Maintain a current Australian Driver's Licence.
