This is an outstanding opportunity for a technically strong and commercially astute Senior Financial Accountant to join a high-performing finance team within a dynamic investment-backed organisation. You will work closely with a respected CFO and Group Financial Controller, taking ownership of core accounting functions while being given scope to add value beyond the numbers. This is a career-defining role for someone eager to consolidate technical expertise and step into a broader leadership pathway, with support from excellent finance leaders. 

The Role

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and managing an Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger integrity
  • Preparation of statutory accounts, budgets, and forecasts
  • Ownership of payroll for multiple entities (compliance, superannuation, payroll tax, FBT, etc.)
  • Cashflow management, fixed asset register maintenance, and credit card reconciliations
  • Supporting audit and tax compliance requirements
  • Providing leadership and mentoring within the finance function, supporting AP/AR as required

About You

We're seeking a qualified (CA/CPA) accountant with a strong technical grounding and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role could be a great opportunity for both tenured Senior Accountants, and up and coming qualified CA/CPA's who are aspiring leaders.

  • Strong grounding of experience, with solid understanding of month-end processes, reconciliations, and reporting
