This is an outstanding opportunity for a technically strong and commercially astute Senior Financial Accountant to join a high-performing finance team within a dynamic investment-backed organisation. You will work closely with a respected CFO and Group Financial Controller, taking ownership of core accounting functions while being given scope to add value beyond the numbers. The Role

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and managing an Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger integrity
  • Preparation of statutory accounts, budgets, and forecasts
  • Ownership of payroll for multiple entities (compliance, superannuation, payroll tax, FBT, etc.)
  • Cashflow management, fixed asset register maintenance, and credit card reconciliations
  • Supporting audit and tax compliance requirements
  • Providing leadership and mentoring within the finance function, supporting AP/AR as required

About You

We're seeking a qualified (CA/CPA) accountant with a strong technical grounding and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role could be a great opportunity for both tenured Senior Accountants, and up and coming qualified CA/CPA's who are aspiring leaders.

  • Strong grounding of experience, with solid understanding of month-end processes, reconciliations, and reporting
