Cattery Assistant

The Catz Pyjamas is seeking a cattery assistant to join its established team.

The position requires 24-29 hours per week, with set shifts from Saturday to Tuesday. Availability on weekends and during school holiday periods is necessary.

Applicants with previous experience in cattery boarding kennels or those who have completed a Certificate II in Animal Studies are preferred.

Responsibilities include feeding, cleaning, grooming, ensuring cat welfare, updating pen charts, and interacting with cats and their owners. The role prioritises maintaining the health and happiness of the animals. Physical fitness for tasks such as bending and kneeling is required. Basic computer skills and effective communication abilities are also needed.
