We are partnering with a high-end property development group with a substantial portfolio across luxury residential and mixed-use projects in Brisbane. The group has over three decades of experience delivering long-term value to investors and communities.

As the project pipeline continues to expand, the finance team is evolving to provide deeper commercial insight and robust financial management and as such are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their team. This is a broad, hands-on role combining project accounting, FP&A, and commercial partnership, and offering exposure to senior leadership, large-scale developments, and future growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

·      Lead budgeting, forecasting, and rolling scenario modelling across multiple projects and entities.

·      Prepare management accounts, consolidated reporting, and variance analysis to inform executive decisions.

·      Partner with project teams to track budgets, costs, margins, and performance metrics.

·      Support project feasibility updates, scenario modelling, and investment decision-making.

·      Build and maintain cashflow, NPV/IRR, and scenario models for funding and strategic planning.

·      Develop dashboards, standardised reporting, and actionable performance insights for leadership.

·      Drive efficiency, automation, and data integrity across multiple entities.

·      Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and best practice financial management.

About You

·      CA/CPA qualified with 5–10 years' experience, ideally in property development, construction, or project-based industries.

·      Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and FP&A skills; advanced Excel capability essential.

·      Experience with project accounting, WIP, cashflow forecasting, and feasibility analysis.

·      Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders and project teams.

·      Familiarity with Xero and/or project feasibility tools; Power BI or similar is advantageous.

·      Background in property development, construction, or project-based industries
