Westside Services (SA) Pty Ltd is part of the larger Westside Group and is our specialist service and maintenance company. We are one of Adelaide's major commercial air conditioning service providers and utilise our diverse skills and expertise in undertaking full building and facility management programmed maintenance works. We have a fleet of service vehicles operating 24 hours, 7 days a week.

About the Role

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team of professionals. This role could also lead to further opportunities within the business based on the successful applicant's previous experience.

Your daily duties would include but not be limited to:

  • The maintenance and repair of commercial refrigeration & air conditioning units and components such as motors, compressors, condensers, pipes, gauges and switches.
  • Diagnosing faults and recording malfunctions and actions taken.
  • Working to plans, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.
  • Testing, adjusting and maintaining systems to achieve optimal performance, from basic DX to major thermal plant.
  • Being subject to Seasonal requirements.
  • Shared weekend, on-call rostering, and consent to all SAPOL checks.

About You

Along with a strong work ethic and previous experience in a similar position you'll have/be:

  • Full qualification with unrestricted Refrigeration Handling License.
  • Restricted or Unrestricted Electrical License.
  • Full Australian working rights or permanent residency.
  • Hold valid SA Driver's license.
  • Have min 5 yrs. history in commercial servicing and repair.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills are a must, when dealing with the client direct onsite.
  • Excellent diagnostic & problem-solving skills and efficient time management.
  • A positive individual, dedicated, prepared to further develop their skills and learn new disciplines.
  • Accountable, experienced in working autonomously and a can-do attitude.
  • Helpful, polite, whilst always displaying respect and professionalism.
