The job

Working as part of the TES team, this role focuses on KANBAN, a scheduling system for lean manufacturing and just-in-time manufacturing. The role is responsible for providing engineering support across a spectrum of disciplines, developing accurate drawings for our production plant as per customer requirement. The role will be responsible to develop wholistic remedial solutions on a variety of projects relating to structural elements for the Building industry.

Primary responsibilities

Preparing the day stock sheet by generating data from everyday production sheet
Adjusting the JIT control board by comparing production sheet, unit sheet and process study sheets (Lean manufacturing) of all manufacturing lines
Creating the production schedules for all technicians and the stock sheet for the required materials by interpreting data from the engineering books
Preparing engineering 2d and 3d drawings with the help of AutoCAD Autodesk designing software and also doing required changes in the standard drawings by doing discussion with the technical leading hands of each line
Preparing 3D part drawing and generating the data by doing strength (FEA) analysis with the help of Inventor Autodesk software
Managing the time and work of technicians of each manufacturing lines by collecting the operational sheets from all technical leading hands and preparing the unit manufacturing plan by discussing with senior engineers

To be successful in this role, you will have

Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering;
Sound understanding of the KANBAN system;
Relevant, proven and transferrable Design/Drafting experience;
Attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Sound 3D CAD experience; Autodesk Inventor is beneficial;
Excellent Computer desktop skills & knowledge (especially Excel);
