The Draftsperson a Safety Steel is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and proficiency in drafting software to support the design and construction of various projects.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints using Tekla Cad Software.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and designers to interpret project requirements.
- Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards, regulations, and company guidelines.
- Revise drawings as required based on feedback from project teams and clients.
- Maintain accurate records of drawings and revisions in an organised filing system
- Perform site visits as necessary to gather data and ensure design align with real-world conditions.
- Assist in preparing material take-offs and bill of materials (BOM) based on drawings.
- Support the preparation of documentations required for regulatory approvals and constructions.Liasing with multiple departments to achieve business objectives.

**Skills and Experience**
- Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Tekla CAD Software.
- Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and principles.
- Experience in construction, manufacturing or engineering.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.Knowledge of relevant building codes and industry standards (if applicable).
