ASSISTANT FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

Australian Consolidated Milk (ACM) is a well-established dairy food manufacturing company situation in Northern Victoria.

ACM's singular manufacturing site of dairy products including milk powders, cream, butter and cheese is a unique point of difference in the industry.

The Assistant Financial Accountant will report to the Financial Controller and work closely with the Financial Accountants.

Based at ACM's Kyabram Office, the focus of the Assistant Financial Accountant is to provide support to the finance and administration teams in the areas of:-

Duties and Responsibilities

· Ensure transactional data from the general ledger is accurate and in line with reporting expectations

· Assist with ensuring all ATO & Taxation requirements are met

· Maintain asset registers, reconciliations & capital expenditure for the ACM Group

· Support the Payroll Department with payroll processing and all associated duties

· Month End Reconciliations

· Allocation of Purchase Orders

· Support ACM's Freight & Purchase Milk Transactions

· Special Projects & Adhoc tasks

Qualifications and Experience

· Post Graduate qualifications preferred (Commerce or Business Degree)

· Strong analytical skills

· Sound Literacy, numeracy, communication and computer skills

· Demonstrate willingness to learn, initiative and strong work ethic

· Organised with excellent time management skills

· Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment
