About Us

Bentrol manufactures bespoke switchrooms and switchboards for major infrastructure projects across Australia and develops advanced control systems. We're seeking a versatile and energetic Warehouse & Procurement Assistant to support Bentrol operations across three sites, with your primary base at Golden Square and regular travel to Kangaroo Flat.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role reporting directly to the Procurement Manager. You'll be a key part of our supply chain and production support team, responsible for:

  • Assisting with procurement and purchasing activities
  • Liaising with engineers, project managers, electricians and fabricators regarding project orders
  • Organising freight in and out of the facilities
  • Receiving, storing, picking, packing, and distributing materials
  • Performing manual handling and stocktaking duties
  • Driving our 2 tonne truck for occasional pickups and deliveries
  • Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and data entry
  • Supporting warehouse operations and general logistic requirements

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 12 months warehouse experience
  • A current Forklift Licence is essential (LF)
  • A valid Driver's Licence is essential (car)
  • Good computer literacy and accurate data entry skills
  • Close attention to detail
  • A fit and active approach to manual handling with some heavy lifting
  • A willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising across departments
