With our urban centre as the CBD of Northern Adelaide, our city is enriched by growing and diverse communities in new and established suburbs, rural and hills townships, and horticultural lands.About The RoleIn this role you will be delivering proactive and reactive maintenance on council-owned trees across the city. This includes tree pruning and removal, habitat management, planting and establishment of new trees, and operating equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and elevated work platforms (EWPs). You'll also support tree risk assessments and contribute to maintaining accurate records using our tree management systems. This is a role that requires safety-first thinking, technical skill, and a strong sense of teamwork.About YouYou'll need qualifications in Arboriculture, a current MR (Medium Rigid) licence, and an Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket (>11m) to get started. You've spent a few years working in arboriculture and feel confident handling everything from pruning and removals to risk assessments and using machinery like chippers, chainsaws, and EWPs.Someone who's happy to share knowledge and support your team is important.
