We're on the hunt for a talented Video Editor to join the Andy Cooks team. In this role, you'll work closely with the production team to craft compelling content that grabs attention and keeps viewers hooked. From cutting raw footage to adding the final polish, you'll play a key role in shaping the visual identity of Andy Cooks.

As the channel continues to grow, you'll be part of a tight-knit production crew working closely with Andy himself to bring big ideas and great food stories to life. It's a fast-paced, hands-on environment where your ideas can have a real impact—and yes, one of the tastiest perks of all is getting to sample the delicious food. 

What You'll Do:

  • Take raw footage and turn it into dynamic, engaging edits that maximise viewer retention.
  • Edit video, audio, and motion graphics for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, with a strong focus on long-form content for YouTube.
  • Manage end-to-end post-production independently using the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Implement feedback and revisions quickly and accurately based on direction from the Producer.
  • Seamlessly edit branded content and sponsorship integrations, including sourcing assets and aligning with brand guidelines.
  • Organise, archive, and manage video files and project assets in line with internal systems and standards.
  • Keep a pulse on current internet trends.
  • Jump in and assist with other creative and production needs as required.
  • Take on larger projects, collaborating with the team on various stages of the post production workflow.

About You:

  • 2-5 years of professional experience in video editing.
  • Experience in editing

short form and long form video content.
- Experience with editing software, specifically Adobe Creative Cloud.
- A good understanding of after effects, audio and colour grading.
- A deep understanding of what makes a great video, whether a 40-minute YouTube feature or a quick 60-second short.
- High degree of attention to detail, specifically when handling multiple video projects, versioning, and receiving feedback from project owners.
- Driven to grow, develop, and enhance creative skills.
