About the Business 

We are Australia's largest privately-owned telecommunications company, rapidly growing our MSP business. Our head office is conveniently located in Sydney's CBD. We are currently seeking an experienced Level 2 Service Desk Engineer to join our team.

About the Role 

As a Level 2 Service Desk Engineer, you will support end users and their infrastructure. Your role is to provide both remote and on-site support to clients. You will be primarily responsible for supporting clients Desktops, VoIP Services, Network Infrastructure and Mobile Devices. Additionally, you will also assist in configuration & administration of new customer deployments and act as a mentor for our junior level 1 staff.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in a fast-paced MSP environment and supporting diverse client environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows Desktop administration, installation, and support.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Experience with endpoint security software and cloud security practices.
  • Basic networking experience.
  • Exposure to MSP toolsets like RMM and PSA.
  • Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory (desirable).
  • Experience with Telecommunications services (desirable)
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager (desirable).
  • Experience with macOS (desirable).
  • Relevant industry certifications.

To be Successful in This Role, You Will Have:

  • The ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to work under SLAs and escalation processes.
  • The ability to work autonomously as part of a diverse team.
  • A full and clean driver's license.
  • Comfortable providing remote support and visiting customer sites.
  • Strong adherence to processes and documentation standards.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call roster.
