About the role

As a Removalist Assistant / Offsider at Grace Removals (Australia) Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team of removalists to deliver an exceptional customer experience. This casual position is based in Willawong branch, and you will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of residential and commercial moves.

Duties

  • Carefully loading and unloading furniture and other household/office items onto and off the removal truck
  • Disassembling and reassembling furniture as required
  • Wrapping and protecting items to prevent damage during transit
  • Assisting with the placement of items in the new location as directed by the customer
  • Providing excellent customer service throughout the relocation process
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment on the removal truck
  • Adhering to all health and safety protocols

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a removalist assistant or in a similar manual handling role (preferred but not required)
  • Strong physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy items
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality service
  • Effective communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
  • A valid driver's licence is highly desirable but not required
