About Us

We are a small creative studio producing short-form video content for a range of clients. As our workload grows, we are looking for a reliable junior videographer to assist with independent on-site filming while the lead creative handles editing and post-production.

Role Overview

This role is perfect for university students or emerging creatives studying film, media, communications, or similar fields. If you enjoy filming, want to gain hands-on industry experience, and are looking to build your portfolio, this is a great opportunity.

You'll be responsible for capturing clean, usable footage on location. Full creative direction and shot lists are provided — you just show up, film, and send the files.

Key Responsibilities

  • Film on-site at scheduled shoots (approx. 2–6 hrs per week)
  • Follow shot lists and creative direction
  • Capture high-quality video content for short-form projects
  • Transfer footage shortly after each shoot
  • Represent the studio professionally during client interactions

What We're Looking For

  • A student or emerging videographer passionate about filming
  • Basic experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras (you don't have to be a professional)
  • Own gear is required
  • Reliable, punctual, and confident taking direction

Hours, Pay & Transport

  • Approx. 2–3 hours per week (casual, shoot-based)
  • Pay discussed based on experience and equipment
  • Transport allowance provided for each shoot to cover travel costs.
  • Strong communication and a positive attitude
  • Keen to build a portfolio and gain real-world experience

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Freelance

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 6 per week
