Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Management Specialist to lead the migration and integration of DHCP servers across two sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in infrastructure architecture and be adept at managing complex network designs and integrations. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure all systems are operational and compliant with security standards.

Responsibilities

  • Replace existing DHCP servers with repurposed servers in non vlan300 at the Sydney and Melbourne sites.
  • Integrate the new DHCP setup with the Broadband Network Gateway (BNG) to ensure seamless connectivity.
  • Oversee the migration process from the existing DHCP to the new DHCP/BNG configuration.
  • Ensure that all reports and alarms are functioning correctly post migration.
  • Complete the Network Architecture Review Board (NARB) process to validate the new infrastructure.
  • Ensure that the information security certification is completed in accordance with company policies.
  • Develop and finalize the network design within the next few weeks.
  • Manage the operating system upgrade from version 7 to version 8 as part of the infrastructure enhancement.
  • Confirm that no DHCP software upgrade is required during this transition.

Mandatory Skills

  • Proven experience in infrastructure architecture and management.
  • Strong knowledge of DHCP and BNG integration processes.
  • Experience with network design and implementation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with network monitoring tools and reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of operating system upgrades and server management.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5 7 years of relevant experience in infrastructure management.
  • Certifications in network management or infrastructure architecture are a plus.
