Our client is a well-established high-performing investment funds management group that is actively investing in real estate through Australia and Asia.

Role

As the Leasing and Property Manager, you will work with the Director of Real Estate Fund Management on managing the existing portfolio which is largely made up of core and value-add commercial real estate in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and other major cities in Australia.

This person will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for formulating and implementing leasing strategies for commercial properties (including office, shops, industrial/logistic warehouse, and business park) within the Group's Australian Portfolio.
  • Securing new tenancies, negotiating lease renewals and providing lease management support.
  • Regular dialogue and meetings with market operatives such as external leasing agents, internal and external solicitors and project managers.
  • Maintaining of tenants' database, checking and preparing lease documents, managing tenancy related leasing issues, compiling occupancy and rental reports and other related lease management functions.
  • Asset management of the current commercial property.
  • Liaising with external and internal parties during the transaction process on the ongoing management of assets.

The Person:

  • 3+ years' experience in Property with a focus on commercial real estate asset management with strong communication skills.
  • Experience in some of the following: valuation, investment analysis, presentation preparation, research, underwriting and co-ordination of due diligence.
