  1. Taxi trucks and same day PUD service point to point across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane metro areas .
  2. Full truck loads to all major capital cities and regional hubs across Australia
  3. LTL service delivering pallets via our TMS platform
  4. Specialised freight and project work for oversized and irregular freight.

We are looking for an experienced Business Development
Manager to join our team and support our next phase of growth across each of our divisions.

The Role

As the Business Development Manager you will champion our sales and existing account optimisation. We are looking for a highly driven individual who is able to utilise our CRM and TMS, bring on new customers and conduct cold outreach activities. In this role you will be supported by our experienced team, have the ability to work independently and get 1:1 mentorship from our Director who brings over 15 years of experience in the transport industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilise and maintain our CRM to conduct sales activities
  • Optimise current accounts and offerings
  • Travel to client sites to conduct pitch meetings
  • Conduct cold calling and outreach activities
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships to expand our client base
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term business relationships
  • Work closely with internal teams to align on growth goals and deliver results
  • Think critically and creatively to implement effective business development strategies

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years experience in business development, with a focus on logistics, transport, or a related industry
  • Demonstrated record of converting leads into paying customers
  • Proven track record of delivery and executing successful growth strategies and sales initiatives
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • A results-focused mindset and the ability to work autonomously
  • Relevant qualifications or associated experience
  • Experience using Hubspot, Machship & Transvirtual is highly desirable
