About us

Our Veritas House Support Services team provide supports to the various programs of Veritas House - a vibrant not for profit community based organisation with a specific focus on supporting vulnerable children, young people and their families in the Bathurst and Orange areas. These are a combination of assessment, therapeutic intervention, behaviour support and consultation/advice services which help meet the needs of children, young people, families and carers of Veritas House. The role

We are searching for an enthusiastic, experienced flexible and highly motivated NDIS Program Lead to join our growing NDIS Services.

This newly created role is based in Bathurst, and is Permanent Full time.

Primary Purpose of Position

Reporting to our CEO, this role will play a key role in leading the design and implementation of our Home, Living and Support Services. Core responsibilities will include program leadership, strategy and compliance, team leadership and mentorship to our Support Coordinator and  workers, as well as support and community engagement to our participants. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to the NDIS Program, ensuring high-quality, person-centred service delivery.

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of Support Coordinators and staff, fostering a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.

  • Oversee program performance, service agreements, and reporting to ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, Code of Conduct, and organisational policies.

  • Manage budgets, monitor participant funding allocations, and ensure financial sustainability of services.

  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and best practice within the program.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Relevant degree qualification in Disability, Community Services, Mental Health or related field.

  • Proven decision-making abilities and attention to detail

  • Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS framework, legislation, and person-centred practice.

  • Experience applying NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators in service delivery.

  • Experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating disability support programs.

  • Ability to identify service gaps, respond to challenges, and implement improvements.

  • Proven ability to lead, support, and develop multidisciplinary teams.

  • Experience in managing performance, fostering collaboration, and driving a positive team culture.

  • High level of computer literacy and organisational skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships.
