Our Client

Numbers Executive is partnering with a leading investment bank to appoint an Associate to their Technology, Media, and Telecommunications team in either Melbourne or Sydney. With deep local expertise and global reach, the team has an impressive track record of executing some of the most high-profile transactions in the sector.

The Opportunity

As an Associate, you will support senior team members in the origination and execution of mergers & acquisitions and capital raising mandates. You will lead the junior cohort, overseeing research, analysis, and financial model development, while actively managing projects and liaising with clients and third-party advisers, including accounting and legal firms.

Required Skills & Experience

We are seeking candidates who demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Approximately 3–5 years' transaction experience gained within an investment bank, independent corporate adviser, or professional services firm
  • Prior exposure to the TMT or Digital Infrastructure sectors
  • Strong communication skills and advanced financial modelling capability
  • Solid understanding of the Australian marketplace
  • High level of commercial acumen and sound judgment under pressure
  • A results-driven mindset, with strong personal drive and motivation
  • Excellent academic credentials (transcripts required)
