About the role

Are you an Assistant in Nursing or a Nursing student? Are you looking for a role where you can utilise your skillset, build on your knowledge, and challenge yourself? Then we want to hear from you We are currently looking for compassionate, knowledgeable, and caring support workers to join our growing team As a disability support worker, you will work alongside Allied Health and Nursing teams to implement and maintain the clients personalised care and support needs, working towards each individual short- and long-term goals.

Duties

  • Day time and evening shift opportunities, 7 days per week
  • Manual Handling
  • Personal Care
  • Medication Administration
  • Community Engagement and Social Support
  • Domestic Assistance
  • Allied Health led programs

About you

  • Must be available for AM and/or PM shifts
  • Preferred clinical/high care experience
  • Current WA licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • NDIS screening check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Current Manual Handling Certificate
  • Current Medication Certificate

Desirable

  • PEG experience highly desirable
  • Tracheostomy experience highly desirable (or willingness to learn)
  • Dysphagia experience highly desirable
  • Catheter, bowel care experience highly desirable
