ABOUT US

Produce Oz by Jensens is a premium fruit and vegetable supplier to the restaurant industry, located in the Rocklea Markets.

THE POSITION

We require a fit, flexible and reliable person to deliver fruit and vegetable orders to restaurants, cafes and hotels around South East Queensland.  There may also be some warehouse shifts with tasks that include restocking coldrooms, assisting other drivers to load vehicles, and some general cleaning duties.

The hours for casual role would be 3 or 4 days between Monday & Sunday. This also is starting at 3:00am and finishing around midday.  This is a casual position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Loading boxes of produce into a small truck, and delivering the produce;

• Packing, sorting and quality control of herbs, fruit and vegetables;

• General warehouse duties, including some cleaning.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL POSSESS

• Previous experience in the fruit and vegetable industry, or in a delivery driving role;

• A good work ethic, attention to detail, and be able to follow instructions well;

• Physical fitness (repeated heavy lifting involved) and self-motivation;

• A clean driving history, with a current open C class licence (MR licence an advantage)

• Rocklea Markets and forklift licence are an advantage.
