About the role:

We are looking for experienced warehouse workers to help help support and perform various warehousing duties. Training and tools will be provided. This is a temp role for with the possibility to be placed as an ongoing worker.

  • Role: Warehouse Assistant
  • Pay rate: $31.19 p/hr + super
  • Date: ASAP for a 1 week trial, potential for ongoing work
  • Shift Time: 6am-2pm (subject to change)
  • Uniform: PPE , Steel toe cap boots and a hi vis
  • Role length: 1 week as a trial and then potential to extend to a more ongoing basis

Responsibilities

  • Receive and unload containers of bikes
  • Assemble and prepare bikes for use
  • Install pedals, helmets, and batteries
  • Apply stickers and branding as required
  • Inspect bikes for quality and functionality before dispatch
  • Strip parts from e-bikes
  • Organise and sort warehouse
  • Move boxes
  • Perform some painting as required

Requirements

  • Enclosed shoes or steel-capped boots
  • Clear communicator; great team player with a positive attitude
  • Organised, motivated and energetic individual
  • Hard-working with a strong attention to detail
  • Adaptable, quick learner
  • Ability to be very active - bend, stoop, and lift up to 30-35kg safely on frequent basis
  • Ongoing work available for the right candidate
