Tenterfield Preschool Kindergarten is a community not for profit preschool that encourages children to develop their independence and sense of self identity, express their ideas and opinions. About the role:

As an Educator, you will be a team player, collaborating with the team to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational program. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children. Be a passionate and motivated Early Childhood Educator with sound knowledge of the NQS and associated regulations, committed to delivering a high-quality educational program.

Requirements:

Diploma / Early Childhood Teacher

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care (or equivalent) or Degree in Early Childhood Teaching as approved by ACECQA
  • NSW Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid, CPR & Child Protection training

Certificate 111

  • Certificate 111 in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • NSW Working with Children Check
  • Child Protection Training

Essential Criteria

  • Experience working in early childhood services.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of current early childhood theories and practices and legislation.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated high level of ethical and professional behaviour, including collaboration and confidentially.
  • Strong commitment to your own professional development.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Strong computer skills.
