About the role

Penrith Early Learning Centre is seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our thriving childcare facility. As the Centre Director, you will be our nominated supervisor responsible for leading a dedicated team of educators to deliver exceptional early childhood education and care in a nurturing and stimulating environment. This is a full-time role based in Penrith, NSW 2750.

We have just completed A & R and received a meeting in all quality areas.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide strong leadership and strategic direction for the centre, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and educational programs that meet the needs of children and families
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of educators, fostering a positive, collaborative, and professional team culture
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and policies, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Develop and implement quality improvement plans, continuously seeking ways to enhance the centre's operations and educational programs
  • Foster positive relationships with families, the local community, and other stakeholders, acting as the centre's primary point of contact
  • Manage the centre's budget, resources, and administrative tasks, ensuring the efficient and effective running of the facility

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree (preferable) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role within the childcare industry
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, and other relevant regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with families, staff, and the community
  • Proven track record of leading a team, fostering a positive work culture, and driving continuous improvement
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the best possible care and learning experiences for children
