About the role
As an Automotive Service Advisor at Castle Hill Mazda, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our service department. Reporting to the Service Manager, this full-time position is based at our Castle Hill, NSW 2154 location.
What you'll be doing
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing guidance on recommended maintenance and repairs for their vehicles
- Organising warranty claims and liaise with Mazda to ensure timely resolution of customer issues
- Schedule and coordinate service appointments, while managing customer expectations
- Prepare comprehensive repair estimates and communicate these to customers
- Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and service work performed
- Collaborate with the service technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry
- Strong automotive product knowledge, with the ability to diagnose and recommend appropriate repairs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Proficient in using automotive service management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to juggle multiple customer requests and service schedules
- A customer-focused mindset and a commitment to providing exceptional service
- Familiarity with warranty claims processing and administration procedures
