Kal Tire's Mining Tire Group Australia are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team in Perth, WA. About the Position:
We are expanding our Sales Team to support Kal Tire's continued growth and success, and are looking for a dynamic and influential Business Development Manager thatcan plan and execute strategies within the mining tyre industry to contribute to the continued commercial success of our business.
You'll work across various client profiles in the delivery of both product and service contracts, continuing to build on an established portfolio and relationships, as well as seek out new prospects and market opportunities across the Western region.
You will be instrumental in the ongoing growth and future expansion of the Mining Tire Group. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Identifying and establishing new business opportunities with potential and existing clients
- Creating and delivering tailored presentations and proposals that demonstrate the value of Kal Tire's products and services
- Providing regular planned site support visits to both existing and new customers
- Tracking industry trends and customer value drivers to create growth strategy plans aligned with our growth strategy
- Develop and implement solutions to deliver value to new and existing mining customers, establishing mutually beneficial partnerships
This is a full-time position, working Monday - Friday based out of either our Perth or Kalgoorlie office.

About you:
- Business Development and Sales experience in both a product and service-based industry
- Account and customer relationship management experience
- Excellent communication, planning and implementation skills
- Experienced in proposals, tender preparation and presentation delivery, with high level proficiency in Microsoft office suite
- Previous experience in and knowledge of the tyre industry would be advantageous, but not essential
Please note that the ability to travel is essential to the success of this role, so you will be required to travel both inter and intra state.
